What’s your favorite track and field event?

4 x 100M Relay and 400M

Who’s been the most influential person in your life?

My dad, without question.

Who’s your favorite super hero?

Superman because he’s actually SUPERMAN. His disguise (Clark Kent) is the guy we see every day.

If there was a movie about your life, what famous actor/actress would play you?

Idris Elba. We don’t look anything alike, but we gotta make that loot!

Which coach had the biggest impact on your athletic journey?

Coach Rod Butler. He convinced me to run the 300M low hurdles as a freshman. I was a sprinter and initially thought I was being punished, or that he didn’t believe in me. He taught me to be disciplined with my technique, and that success in life comes when you find your niche and allow yourself to be open to new concepts.

Tell us something interesting about your life that the Flyers might not know?

I met my wife at a summer camp when we were 14 years old. We never lived in the same city until the day we came home from our honeymoon at age 25!

If you could take a time machine back to any place, event, miracle etc. in the Bible where would you go?

I’d be at the tomb at the precise moment the angel rolled the stone away on that Resurrection morning. I’d stay there all morning and just watch the drama unfold!

What’s your favorite Bible verse?

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
