Who’s been the most influential person in your life?
Dr. Jack Curtis, who was a pioneer in mental imagery. I met him at the beginning of my junior year in college. He taught us how to systematically relax, meditate and imagine great sports accomplishments before they happened. Amazingly, every sports dream I ever had happened EXACTLY as I had “seen” through his training. I threw 7 feet further in the shot put and 35lb weight in one year due to his awakening my mind.
Who’s your favorite super hero?
The Flash. I have comic books that originally sold for 12 cents in the 60’s.
If there was a movie about your life, what famous actor/actress would play you?
Which coach had the biggest impact on your athletic journey?
My defensive line coach in college, Tony Christnovich. He was 6’5”, had hands like bananas and was relentless in his expectations. He was a lion and feared by everyone….but also had a giant heart.
Tell us something interesting about your life that the Flyers might not know?
I love plants and flowers. So much so that I may become a professional gardener in my later years.
